Important Dates and Details for Requesting Library Materials
Place requests for book loans and scans available in NYU collections by 5:00 PM (ET) on Monday December 15, to guarantee processing before winter break begins.
Requests placed after 5:00 PM on December 15 , will be processed in the order received.
Requests for library materials submitted over the break will not be processed until January 5, 2026.
For desk and locker delivery items, please plan to pick up items by December 19, or in January.. Library buildings will be closed from 12/20/2025 - 1/4/2026. Items still in lockers will be held for an extended window until January 7, 2026.
Home delivery may take longer than usual during this time of year due to the holiday shipping volume.
We cannot provide delivery guarantees for Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and EZBorrow requests. Pending requests will continue to be processed in January.
