July 25, 2019 - The testing of the support system is complete. Users should be able to use all features and services within our online catalog.

The behind-the-scenes work is continuing.

We will post updates on this page if that work is expected to cause any further downtime or access issues.

Work on a supporting system is expected to begin on Wednesday, July 24

The following features and services offered within our Online Catalog may be unavailable:

- Ability to log in to the system

- See request options for materials

- Make Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests
Alternative: Use ill.library.nyu.edu. Copy the details of the item you want in the catalog. Manually enter the item information into the ILL request form.

- Save new items to E-shelf
Alternative: Use eshelf.library.nyu.edu/ to view current items. You won't be able to save new items but you can export items you find to RefWorks, Zotero, or email.

- View "My Account" (see your fines, loans, etc.)
Alternative: Use eshelf.library.nyu.edu/account

Beginning Friday, July 19th at approximately 7:00 am EDT the catalog system will enter an extended maintenance window.

There may be minor downtime periods for our online catalog and related systems between July 19 and July 31. There will be specific messages for these periods.

This maintenance window is necessary to migrate the application and data to new servers as the operating system on the current servers has reached end-of-life.

Updates will be posted throughout the project.
